We understand your need to identify, recruit, and hire quality talent in an efficient yet comprehensive manner. We also understand that visiting 30 different campuses may prove to be difficult, if not altogether impossible. So, our focus is simple. We leverage technology to connect your company and current hiring needs to students attending our member schools. We do this in a number of different ways.
Accounting Interview Day
For more than 10 years, ICoRN has hosted an annual interview event in late September in Newton, Iowa to help publicly and privately held companies recruit accounting/finance students for both full-time and internship opportunities.
Spring Inteview Day & Career Fair
Since its inception in 1984, ICoRN has hosted centralized interview days designed to connect employers from all industries with students from its member schools. As a participant at our spring interview day, it is possible for you to speak with 14 different candidates in one day, all from different colleges in Iowa. Because the interview component is the thrust of this day, our spring career fair is only open to employers conducting interviews at the event.
Virtual Healthcare Career Fair
As the healthcare industry continues to grow and change, so does the demand for talented professionals from various backgrounds. Whether you are a hospital, research center, consulting company, or technology developer, we would strongly encourage you to participate in this virtual career fair. Why is this event virtual? We have learned that many students in the allied professions (e.g., nursing) are engaged in very structured academic and clinical rotations throughout the week. Thus, identifying a single day (or two days) that would work well for our multiple campuses was an impossible task. Therefore, hosting an event that would cover several weeks (on-line) provides both students and employers an extended time to connect with one another.
